Abraham 💖 Sarah: Couples of the Bible.
Meet this week’s bachelors & bachelorettes! 🎉
Oops, I Did It Again 😪

Ever feel like one mistake disqualified you from the future you hoped for?
A relationship you shouldn’t have stayed in.
A choice you wish you could undo.
A moment that still whispers, “You messed this up.”
You’re not alone.
Peter knew that feeling.
He promised he would never abandon Christ, even if it cost him his life. Yet he denied his Lord. Not once. Not twice. Three times.
Peter carried that shame like a permanent L stamped across his forehead.
Days later, on a shoreline at dawn, the sun peeks over the horizon. A small charcoal fire crackles. Fish sizzle over the coals, and the smell drifts across the water where the disciples have just pulled in their nets.
Suddenly, Peter emerges from the sea, damp and exhausted, hands rough from hauling rope.
And there, cooking breakfast for them all, is his Lord. The One he thought he had failed forever.
Christ breaks the silence:
“Simon, son of Jonas… do you love me?”
Not once. Not twice. But three times.
And each time Peter answers, our Lord tells him, “Feed my sheep.”
Three denials.
Three restorations.
He wasn’t shaming Peter.
He was rewriting the moment Peter thought had defined him.
That’s our God.
He does not revisit our worst failures to hold them over us.
He revisits them to restore us.
He does not write us off, though He has every right to.
Peter, who overpromised and underdelivered, who spoke too fast and folded under pressure, became the rock of the Church. Because he discovered that the Lord who defeated death loved him to death.
Translation: don’t discount anyone, even yourself, because of an embarrassing failure. Your worst moment does not disqualify you.
There’s hope yet when we choose to build bridges instead of burning them.
True love is long-suffering. It isn’t simply putting up with bad behavior. It pushing us us to do (and be) better.
So if you are in your “Oops I did it again 😭” season, here’s the good news:
You’re still in Peter territory, the not-disqualified territory.
That’s grace.
It doesn’t pretend failure didn’t happen.
It refuses to let failure be the final word.
So if there’s a moment you wish you could erase…
a decision that still makes you wince…
you are not beyond restoration.
The One who commanded us to forgive seventy times seven surely forgives our many fumbles

Who’s in the Singles Spotlight this week?

MARINA
Optimistic Adventurer with a Compassionate Heart.
29F | 160 cm | Kuwait | Lutheran | Bachelor’s | English, Telugu | Business Analyst / Admissions Specialist
If you had to describe Marina in a nutshell - ‘relentless optimist’ would probably best capture her - she’s intentional about being positive in every circumstance, and has a diehard commitment to ‘never giving up’!
Born in Kuwait and shaped by global wanderings, she embraces an active & full life - you can catch her shooting hoops or smashing on the tennis court, going for a refreshing swim, experimenting with the latest fashion trends, planning a weekend getaway, and creating lasting memories with those she loves.
She was raised in a Christian family, but found her personal faith later in a church in India - having since received baptism. She now seeks a partner who shares her faith and ambition in life - someone who’s emotionally available, understanding, above all, a happy, hearty & kind soul.
Preferably someone in Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Switzerland / EU or the Gulf Region.

ASHISH
Creative | Contemplative | Christ-Centered.
36M | 177 cm | Mumbai, IND | Born Again | Master’s | English, Marathi | NCD
A ‘creative conundrum’ is what 36 year old Mumbai-native, Ashish, interestingly calls himself. Though known among his peers for his trademark light-hearted wit & banter, he’s a deep, contemplative thinker in private - with his inner musings harnessed for his work & personal ministry.
He serves as the National Creative Director at a buzzing ad agency, devoted to crafting campaigns that captivate. When done for the day, you can find him diving into his books, hitting the gym, strumming his guitar, or enjoying a foodie adventure (& occasionally upending his house for its scheduled cleaning).
Health is a priority for him: from school days dominating hockey, basketball, and football, to now gymming, running, and swimming daily (while avoiding tobacco/alcohol) Ashish is clear about his chosen non-negotiables for overall wellbeing.
As he hails from a family that’s deep-rooted in faith, Ashish seeks to carry this forward and looks for a partner who shares his commitment to a God-first union, filled with love & sacrifice, healthy choices, and open dialogue.
